#Nodus sector dive skin# #Nodus sector dive full# #Nodus sector dive skin# Combined with the tapered markers, they create a contemporary look that still feels like a traditional skin diver dial layout. I am a huge fan of the 3, 6, 9 configuration on the Sector Dive. Moving out from the center of the dial is where the numerals and markers are. On the Sector Field, this section will also include a 24-hour scale. This part of the dial contains the Nodus branding and water resistance rating (150m). The inner part of the dial is raised above the rest of the dial. There are a few main elements to the dial that break it up and add that depth. The sector dial on the watch adds a few dynamic elements that add a ton of depth to the dial despite it being entirely printed. The Nodus Sector is the named the Sector because of its dial. Not every dial color works with the same handset. Far too often brands will fit the same color handset to every dial color they offer. This helps keep the dial readable and is a nice touch from Nodus. Nodus has fitted each dial color with its own coordinating and contrasting handset. Regardless of which dial option you choose, the Sector will always be highly legible. If you have a larger wrist, the 47mm lug-to-lug will fill your wrist more. If your wrist is on the smaller side, the case diameter will slim down the watch to your wrist. When combined, those dimensions create a watch with a chameleon effect it adapts to almost any wrist size. Including the bezel, it is 39mm wide, 47mm lug-to-lug, and just under 13mm in height. The dimensions of the Sector are going to please most wearers. I daresay that it is the most comfortable Nodus. The curvature of the chunky lugs combined with the bracelet articulation and overall dimensions make this watch extremely comfortable on the wrist. In the Duality review, I discussed how great that case was, and it still is, but the Sector knocks it out of the park in terms of fit. I’ve worn every Nodus and while they have yet to make a watch I didn’t like on my wrist, the Sector is their best entry yet. Regardless of whether you choose a Sector Dive or Field, the watch is a great entry into Nodus if you haven’t ever handled a watch from the brand. The movement, case, crown, and bracelet are the same. Outside of those two elements, the watches are the same. The Sector Dive, which we will look at today, has a rotating dive bezel and a 3, 6, 9 dial layout. #Nodus sector dive full# The Sector Field has a fixed stainless steel bezel and a full numeral dial. The differences come down to two things: the bezel and the dial layout. The Nodus Sector is a unique line of watches offered in 2 configurations with various colorways for each configuration.Ĭoming as either a field watch or dive watch, the Sector aims to please a broad range of audiences. Over the past few months they have released the Duality ( review here), updated the Retrospect with new colorways, and released the Sector series.

You will see an Earth ever so slightly less ruined than it was during War’s story, as Fury sees it during the period between War’s incarceration and eventual return with Mark Hamill’s Watcher. Fury is the star of the show here, with her barbed whip and even more barbed wit, and while she struggles to believe War’s guilt, she nevertheless follows the Council’s order to find and capture the Seven Deadly Sins that have been unleashed and are now running riot on a ruined Earth. This story however, much like Death’s in the first sequel, is not about War. Problem is, the apocalypse started early and War was accused of causing it, which is where the first Darksiders began.ĭarksiders III however, begins with War in chains before the Charred Council, before he convinced them to send him to Earth to prove his innocence. In amongst all this, humanity was born and the Council decided that humans would have their own kingdom, and also created the Seven Seals, which were only to be broken when mankind was ready for the great Endwar. Now here we are, six years later, and the day I never thought would come is here: Darksiders III has arrived.įor ages, the story goes, Heaven and Hell battled one another as was their wont, but in time The Charred Council was created to broker a truce between the two warring factions, and the Four Horsemen were created to ensure that balance was kept. Thankfully, after Nordic Games (eventually rebranded as THQ Nordic) acquired the Darksiders IP, and Gunfire Games was born from a bunch of the ex-Darksiders team, things began to look up. Indeed, when THQ went out of business in 2012, only a few short months after the release of Darksiders II, I was almost certain that we would never see the end to the story of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. And victory also grants you access to the next area in an already predetermined order. This one has certainly been a long time coming. Overcoming them awards Fury with a new weapon to replace the current one for that particular Hollow. At most, each boss will take you one or two attempts to defeat. After a short monologue from Fury, the battle begins and ends in a matter of a couple of minutes. A bigger golem! One imbued with the elemental power of the area it resides in.īattles take place within a walled-off room and golems themselves are slow and don’t require much of an effort to defeat. Each area culminates in a spectacular boss battle against… a golem. Certain enemies are faster or more powerful, but generally, they’re the same boring golem throughout all areas. Keepers of the Void follows a simple structure of solving a puzzle, doing battle, and then solving another puzzle. Later areas involve up to all four Hollows in order to solve any given puzzle. By striking the orb with the Flame Hollow, for instance, certain blocks move, while striking it with the Force Hollow allows you to traverse the side of the affected blocks. This often limits your options and leads to a quick solution to the puzzle. Each of these orbs has runes around it, indicating which Hollows can interact with it. More often than not, this involves interacting with a nearby orb with one of the Hollows at your disposal. Most puzzles revolve around manipulating black blocks in order to reach the next room.
